Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-traffic warehouse zones
- Manage inventory through precise pallet stacking, racking, and rotation systems
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Maintain accurate digital inventory records via warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
- Train junior operators on equipment best practices
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (3+ years preferred)
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/forklift experience in high-volume environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Proficient with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Excellent communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
