Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse and yard environments
- Load/unload trucks and containers using proper palletizing techniques
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist in warehouse cleanup and organization initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year of industrial forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory and measurement tasks
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality required
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Preferred experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
