Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in fast-paced warehouse environments
- Execute inventory management tasks using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Maintain detailed logs for equipment inspections and safety compliance
- Coordinate cross-functional team movements for efficient dock operations
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize material handling workflows
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience in industrial settings
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current driver's license
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
