Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Safely load/untract trailers using pallet jacks and dock equipment
- Conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections and maintenance logs
- Manage inventory counts and cycle counts with RF scanning technology
- Train new operators on warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Comply with all OSHA, EPA, and company safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (3+ years of experience)
- Proven ability to operate multiple forklift types (sit-down, reach truck, order picker)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail in inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
