Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage inventory documentation using WMS systems
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment handling
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams for seamless workflow
- Implement OSHA-compliant material handling procedures
- Optimize warehouse space utilization through strategic pallet stacking
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- 3+ years of industrial equipment operation experience
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license preferred
