Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a high-volume warehouse environment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage inventory using RF scanning systems and digital tracking platforms
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of trailers
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company SOPs
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Optimize storage layouts for maximum space utilization
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- 3+ years of warehouse forklift operation experience
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
