Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and publish annual Future Outlook reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to embed foresight into product roadmaps and business models
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops using speculative design and scenario planning methodologies
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate complex future scenarios into compelling narratives for stakeholders and investors
- Oversee implementation of pilot programs testing emerging market opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio with documented case studies)
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS, CFS) strongly preferred
- Published author or keynote speaker at global innovation conferences
