Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment in high-volume warehouse environments
- Manage inventory with precision using WMS systems to maintain 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities including receiving, staging, and shipping
- Implement lean principles to optimize material flow and reduce operational waste
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols
- Mentor junior staff on best practices and equipment operation
- Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Collaborate with supervisors to improve warehouse efficiency metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in warehouse/material handling roles
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and industrial equipment operation skills
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Forklift certification and experience with automated systems a plus
- Strong teamwork skills with ability to work in fast-paced environments
