Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, store, and distribute materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated systems
- Operate warehouse equipment (RF scanners, conveyors) with precision and safety compliance
- Perform inventory audits and cycle counts with 99.5% accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and minimize downtime
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
- Train junior staff on equipment operation and best practices
- Maintain detailed records of material movements and warehouse activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse/material handling environments
- Forklift certification (OSHA-approved) and heavy equipment operation expertise
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Experience with lean manufacturing or 5S methodologies
- Valid California driver's license
