Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor 10-15 team members, ensuring safety compliance and productivity targets
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes using provided equipment (RF scanners, forklifts, etc.)
- Implement inventory management systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate with transportation and procurement teams for seamless logistics
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification and forklift operation skills (equipment provided)
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and RF technology
- Strong leadership abilities with conflict resolution expertise
- Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and FDA regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Proven track record in reducing operational costs by 15%+
