Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated warehouse systems
- Manage inventory of high-value automotive and aerospace components
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure JIT delivery schedules
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS software
- Train junior staff on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming/outgoing materials
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in high-volume material handling
- OSHA-certified forklift operator certification required
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Experience with hazardous material handling (HAZMAT preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
