Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero environments
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring and documentation for -10°F to 40°F zones
- Execute inventory management and FIFO rotation protocols for perishable goods
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety standards in cold storage conditions
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting of refrigeration systems
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- OSHA 10 certification and HACCP training preferred
- Valid forklift certification with ability to operate in low-temperature conditions
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail for inventory accuracy and temperature control
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems and troubleshooting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
