Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation processes
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and dock schedules
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and implement 5S methodology
- Train new team members on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse/material handling environments
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) technology
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
