Responsibilities
- Manage high-value inventory with RF scanning technology in climate-controlled facilities
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts for oversized/heavy materials up to 5,000 lbs
- Coordinate JIT delivery schedules with production teams to maintain zero-defect standards
- Implement lean principles to optimize warehouse layout and material flow
- Train junior staff on OSHA compliance and safety protocols
- Utilize WMS systems for real-time inventory tracking and reporting
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor-managed inventory systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in high-volume warehousing with hazardous materials certification
- OSHA Forklift Operator certification (valid)
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for 8-hour shifts
- Strong analytical skills with inventory variance management experience
- OSHA 30-hour General Industry certification preferred
- Lean Six Yellow Belt or equivalent process improvement training
