Responsibilities
- Efficiently move, store, and distribute materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records through systematic cycle counting and documentation
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols while operating machinery in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows and productivity
- Inspect and report equipment malfunctions to prevent operational delays
- Train junior staff on material handling best practices and safety procedures
- Support quality control initiatives by verifying product specifications during handling
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional material handling experience in a warehouse setting
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with clean driving record
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and work in varying temperatures
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
