Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Oversee daily operations: receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Implement lean practices to optimize workflow and reduce operational costs
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Coordinate with transportation and supply chain teams for seamless operations
- Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and safety certifications
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- Forklift certification and strong equipment safety knowledge
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory software
- Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Strong analytical skills for process optimization and problem-solving
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field a plus
