Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated conveyor systems
- Execute complex inventory management procedures with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional team operations to meet tight production deadlines
- Maintain detailed digital records of material movements and warehouse metrics
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train junior staff on safety protocols and equipment operation standards
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of advanced material handling experience in high-volume environments
- Certified forklift operator license (OSHA certification preferred)
- Proficiency with WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and barcode scanning systems
- Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate in varied temperatures
- Strong mathematical aptitude for inventory reconciliation and data analysis
- OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons
- Valid Kentucky driver's license with clean record
