Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated warehouse equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory control systems using RF scanners and WMS software with 99.8% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of aircraft components and precision machinery
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize warehouse workflows
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain detailed documentation of material movements and inventory discrepancies
- Mentor junior staff on safety protocols and operational best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in high-value material handling or aerospace logistics
- Valid forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training completion
- Proficiency with WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and RF technology
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in varying temperature zones
- Strong mathematical aptitude for inventory reconciliation
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (training provided if needed)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (4-on/4-off schedule) with overtime potential
