Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and heavy machinery in compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory using WMS systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics between warehouse and production
- Maintain detailed documentation for high-value materials
- Train junior staff on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize space efficiency
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of material handling experience in regulated environments
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in varying temperatures
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
