Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for commercial applications.
- Lead the architectural transition from classical to hybrid quantum-classical systems.
- Mentor a team of junior data scientists and quantum researchers.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence and error correction.
- Conduct research into post-quantum cryptography and security protocols.
- Present technical findings and architectural roadmaps to executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development and machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, AWS Braket).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, experimental environment.
