Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Manage documentation compliance (BOLs, customs forms, hazardous materials)
- Monitor shipment tracking and resolve transit delays proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for inventory allocation and dock scheduling
- Analyze shipping data to reduce costs and improve delivery times
- Act as primary liaison between clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate shipment records in ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/transportation management systems
- Familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and export regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills under time-sensitive conditions
- Excellent written/verbal communication abilities
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field
- OSHA Hazmat certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Advanced Excel skills for freight cost analysis
