Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers and transport modes
- Manage documentation compliance (BOLs, customs forms, commercial invoices)
- Optimize routing and carrier negotiations to minimize costs and transit times
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve delivery exceptions
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Analyze shipping data to identify efficiency improvements
- Maintain client relationships through proactive communication
Qualifications
- 3+ years of direct shipping/logistics coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS systems (Manhattan, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
