Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier scheduling
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate rates with 3PL providers and carriers
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and proactively resolve transit delays
- Manage inventory levels and warehouse operations for optimal fulfillment
- Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to align shipping strategies with business goals
- Implement sustainability initiatives in packaging and transportation methods
- Maintain compliance with international trade regulations (ITAR, FDA, etc.)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency with TMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Certified Customs Broker (CBP) or equivalent trade compliance certification preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to optimize complex supply chains
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities during transit disruptions
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
