Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of 15-20 warehouse associates with performance management
- Implement and optimize safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and zero-accident standards
- Manage inventory control systems, cycle counts, and reconciliation procedures
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with transportation, procurement, and customer service teams
- Analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement efficiency solutions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of warehouse/supply chain management experience
- Proven track record leading teams of 10+ employees in fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management experience
- Proficient in data analysis and performance metric reporting
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Forklift certification required
