Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and fulfillment processes
- Lead and develop team of 15-20 warehouse associates through performance coaching
- Implement lean methodologies to optimize space utilization and reduce waste
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain safety protocols across all operations
- Manage inventory control systems with 99.8% accuracy requirements
- Collaborate with logistics team to coordinate inbound/outbound shipments
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Train staff on new technologies including WMS and automated systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisor role
- Proven track record of improving productivity metrics (e.g., pick rates, accuracy)
- Expertise in OSHA regulations and safety management systems
- Advanced proficiency in WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team development
- Data-driven decision-making abilities with experience in KPI reporting
- Forklift certification and hazardous materials handling experience
