Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage and develop a team of 15+ warehouse associates through training, coaching, and performance reviews
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to achieve zero-accident standards
- Optimize inventory control systems and implement process improvements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet customer delivery deadlines
- Analyze operational metrics to drive efficiency and cost reduction
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience with team leadership responsibilities
- Proven track record in inventory control and process optimization
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation experience
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Associates)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret operational data
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
