Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve productivity and reduce waste
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a zero-accident safety culture
- Manage cross-functional teams including pickers, packers, and forklift operators
- Optimize warehouse layout and material flow using WMS systems
- Analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock operations
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA 30 certification and Forklift Operator certification required
- Expertise in WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Proven track record of reducing operational costs by 15%+
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring diverse teams
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in inventory control methodologies (FIFO, cycle counting)
