Responsibilities
- Oversee 50+ team members in daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Implement lean methodologies to optimize space utilization and reduce processing time by 20%
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain safety standards across all warehouse activities
- Manage inventory control systems with 99.5% accuracy targets
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless dock-to-stock operations
- Develop and mentor warehouse staff through performance reviews and training programs
- Analyze operational KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in warehouse management with 2+ years in supervisory roles
- Expertise in WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle) and warehouse automation
- OSHA 30 certification and Hazmat handling experience preferred
- Proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing operational costs
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision making
- Excellent leadership abilities with conflict resolution experience
- Forklift certification required
