Responsibilities
- Direct daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce costs by 15% annually
- Manage 50+ employees through scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a zero-accident safety culture
- Optimize inventory accuracy through cycle counting and WMS system oversight
- Collaborate with logistics team to meet 99.5% on-time delivery targets
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 3+ in supervisory roles
- OSHA 30 certification and forklift operation credentials
- Proven track record in inventory control and WMS implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in warehouse management software
- Strong leadership background with conflict resolution abilities
- Experience managing teams of 40+ employees in 24/7 operations
