Responsibilities
- Direct daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping processes
- Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Manage inventory accuracy with WMS systems and cycle count protocols
- Train and mentor staff on safety procedures and equipment operation
- Collaborate with logistics team on transportation scheduling and cost reduction
- Conduct performance reviews and foster team development
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain safety standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator credentials
- Proficiency with WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Proven track record in inventory reduction and process improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred
- Strong analytical skills with KPI-driven mindset
- Experience managing unionized teams (Boston market experience preferred)
