Responsibilities
- Oversee 20+ team members in daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Implement lean methodologies to boost productivity and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict OSHA/EPA compliance and maintain impeccable safety records
- Manage inventory control systems with 99.8% accuracy requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless supply chain integration
- Analyze KPIs and develop data-driven improvement strategies
- Lead continuous training programs for warehouse personnel
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution
- OSHA 30 certification and forklift operator credentials
- Proficiency in WMS systems (Manhattan, SAP, or Oracle)
- Proven track record of reducing shrinkage below 0.2%
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Experience managing unionized teams
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of Houston transportation networks
