Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory control systems, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, including dock scheduling and carrier relationships
- Analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and operational budgets
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in a distribution center
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation credentials
- Proven track record in inventory control and logistics optimization
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Knowledge of Texas labor laws and DOT regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
