Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping operations, including documentation, carrier selection, and route optimization
- Manage inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels and traceability
- Liaise with customs brokers and regulatory bodies for international shipments
- Track and trace shipments in real-time, providing proactive updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and investigate delays with carriers
- Maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and international trade regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to synchronize supply chain activities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management preferred (CSCP, CLTD)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and international shipping documentation
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with LTL/FTL carrier negotiations
