Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track shipment status in real-time
- Resolve logistics disruptions and implement contingency plans proactively
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to meet delivery deadlines
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and industry safety standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Manhattan Active)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms)
- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills with carriers
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Supply Chain preferred
