Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers
- Manage inventory tracking and warehouse documentation systems
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and customs compliance issues
- Collaborate with sales teams to expedite urgent deliveries
- Optimize shipping routes to reduce costs and transit times
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international trade regulations
- Prepare shipping manifests and customs declarations
- Monitor KPIs and report on shipping performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years of logistics/shipping coordination experience
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs documentation
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field required
- Experience with hazardous materials shipping a plus
