Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, ground, and ocean freight
- Prepare and manage customs documentation, bills of lading, and commercial invoices
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS systems and proactively resolve delays
- Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and warehouse personnel
- Optimize shipping routes to minimize costs and transit times
- Maintain accurate shipment records and generate performance reports
- Ensure compliance with DOT and international trade regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/shipping coordination role
- Proficiency with TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field
- Forklift certification preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
