Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily domestic/international shipments across multiple carriers and transportation modes
- Generate and manage shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, customs forms)
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and provide proactive client updates
- Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and customs clearance issues
- Optimize routes and negotiate carrier rates to reduce transportation costs
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of shipping coordination or logistics operations experience
- Proficiency in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials shipping
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
