In this role, you will be the bridge between our warehouse operations and our clients, ensuring that shipments are processed accurately and delivered on time.
As a key player in our supply chain, you will utilize industry-standard software to track shipments, resolve logistics issues, and optimize delivery routes. Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping data, including tracking numbers, invoices, and delivery statuses.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
- Monitor freight costs and negotiate with carriers to secure the best rates.
- Assist in the physical inspection of packages to ensure condition and proper labeling.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in shipping software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Manhattan) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
