About the Role:
In this pivotal position, you will oversee the end-to-end shipping process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and ready to hit the ground running immediately.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
- Manage inventory levels and track stock movement within the warehouse.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, warehouse staff, and customers to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Utilize logistics software to track shipments and analyze shipping data for efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination (1-2 years preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
