Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
- Track shipments in real-time, resolving any delays or logistical issues immediately.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, warehouse staff, and clients to provide accurate status updates.
- Manage inventory levels related to outbound shipments and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to optimize shipping routes and costs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
