Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-modal shipments (LTL, FTL, air freight) using TMS platforms
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate competitive rates
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve transit exceptions
- Prepare and process customs documentation for international freight
- Optimize routing to minimize costs while ensuring on-time delivery
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of freight coordination experience in logistics/supply chain
- Proficiency with TMS systems (Manhattan, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020 and customs procedures
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Colorado Springs transportation networks
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments
- High school diploma; bachelor's degree in logistics preferred
- OSHA Hazmat certification a plus
