Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping schedules and track freight movements
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and manifests
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to optimize loading and unloading processes
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and provide real-time shipment tracking updates
- Build relationships with carriers and negotiate freight rates
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
- Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of shipping or logistics coordination experience
- Proficiency in WMS and TMS software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and export/import regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with LTL, FTL, and international shipping methods
