Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train, mentor, and manage team of warehouse associates to ensure productivity and safety standards
- Implement inventory control systems and conduct cycle counts to maintain accuracy
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and forklift operator certifications
- Prepare performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet operational targets
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Forklift certification and equipment operation experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as needed
