Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipping schedules via air, rail, and freight carriers
- Manage documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and shipping manifests
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies with ERP systems
- Communicate shipment status updates to internal stakeholders and clients
- Negotiate rates with carriers and optimize shipping routes for cost efficiency
- Resolve shipping delays and implement corrective actions
- Maintain compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs documentation
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- Forklift certification preferred
- Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field
