Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments, including carrier selection, route optimization, and scheduling
- Prepare and process shipping documentation (BOLs, customs forms, invoices)
- Track shipments in real-time using logistics software (e.g., Oracle TMS, Descartes)
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to meet delivery SLAs
- Conduct freight audits and negotiate carrier contracts
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and customs regulations
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of shipping/transportation coordination experience
- Proficiency in TMS software and MS Office Suite
- Strong knowledge of LTL, FTL, and international shipping protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Forklift certification preferred
- OSHA Hazmat certification a plus
