Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping activities across multiple carriers and transport modes
- Manage inventory tracking and documentation for inbound/outbound shipments
- Optimize freight routes to reduce costs and transit times
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade compliance standards
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and provide real-time shipment tracking updates
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams for integrated logistics
- Maintain accurate shipping records and generate performance reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain coordination
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
- Valid Michigan driver's license preferred
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Associate's degree in logistics or related field required
