Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes for international cargo via air, sea, and ground transport
- Manage documentation (B/Ls, customs forms, commercial invoices) to ensure regulatory compliance
- Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and clients to resolve shipment delays and issues
- Track shipments using TMS systems and provide real-time updates to stakeholders
- Optimize routing and carrier selection to minimize costs and transit times
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate warehouse operations
- Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to align shipping schedules with client demands
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination or supply chain management
- Proficiency in customs regulations (HTSUS, FDA, CBP) and Incoterms 2020
- Expertise in TMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or Descartes) and Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot shipment disruptions
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
