Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic/international shipments via air, ground, and sea carriers
- Generate and manage Bill of Lading, commercial invoices, and customs documentation
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and proactively resolve transit delays
- Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure accurate packaging and labeling
- Optimize freight routes to reduce costs while maintaining delivery SLAs
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate rates for cost efficiency
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in shipping coordination or logistics operations
- Proficiency with TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder)
- Certification in logistics/supply chain management (CSCP, CLTD, or CSCP) preferred
- Expert knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and hazardous materials handling
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to multitask under pressure
- Strong Excel proficiency for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
