Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, customs clearance, and carrier selection
- Monitor shipment tracking and proactively resolve transit delays or issues
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory and packing standards
- Manage relationships with freight carriers and negotiate competitive rates
- Generate shipping reports and maintain compliance with DOT/FAA regulations
- Implement process improvements to reduce shipping costs and transit times
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in freight forwarding or logistics coordination
- Proficiency with TMS/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Certified Customs Broker (ACE) or equivalent documentation expertise
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in high-volume environments
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
