As a key member of our operations team, you'll coordinate daily shipping activities, maintain compliance with transportation regulations, and optimize logistics workflows. Our Albuquerque facility serves as a hub for regional distribution, making this role pivotal to our supply chain network.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple carriers
- Manage inventory documentation including bills of lading, customs forms, and shipping manifests
- Optimize logistics routes to reduce transit times and transportation costs
- Track shipments in real-time and provide proactive status updates to stakeholders
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Maintain compliance with DOT, IATA, and international trade regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in logistics or shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS/WMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations
- Strong analytical skills for route optimization and cost analysis
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder coordination
- Certification in logistics (CSCP, CLTD, or similar) preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Valid driver's license required
